Vice President, Global Advocacy and Internet Policy

Biografía

I'm the VP of Global Advocacy and Internet Policy at the Internet Society, where I work with our global community, partners, and policy teams to advance an open and trustworthy Internet for everyone.

Before joining ISOC, I spent 15 years working on technology policy in Brussels and internationally on digital rights, internet governance, and emerging technologies, including AI. Working across civil society and the tech industry, including at Mozilla, I helped build networks and partnerships between policymakers, civil society, and the technical community to shape more inclusive policy.

With a background in classical archaeology and history, I often draw on that perspective to think about how societies change and what that means for the technologies we're building today. I'm especially interested in who gets to shape technology policy, and who gets left out.

To me, the Internet is an essential global infrastructure for connection, learning, and civic participation. I'm focused on helping ensure it stays open, resilient, and shaped by the people it serves.

When I'm not working on policy, you'll usually find me lifting heavy things at the gym, testing recipes from the internet, or making memories with my family.
